Hawaii County Traffic Division road crews will be installing traffic and pedestrian control devices along Kawaihae Road, starting Monday and continuing for two weeks, weather permitting. Road work will be outside of the roadway, starting at Waimea Park and continuing for 1,000 feet to Parker Square. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling in this area between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.

Installation work is planned to be outside the roadway but lifting equipment may require short periods of work over the roadway. Police will direct traffic during those periods.
